Casamayor Youth Camps deliver a focused, energetic, and fun experience that helps your child grow as a player and teammate. Each three-hour session is structured to maximize skill development, game understanding, and positive social interaction in a supportive environment led by experienced coaches.

What a 3-hour camp looks like

  • Warm-up and dynamic movement (15–20 minutes)

    • Dynamic stretches, light running, coordination drills to prepare muscles and reduce injury risk.

    • Simple partner drills to build focus and coach-player connection.

  • Skill stations (90–100 minutes total; rotated)

    • Fielding station: Footwork, glove work, infield/outfield mechanics, ground balls, and fly balls. Emphasis on angles, throwing accuracy, and quick transfers.

    • Hitting station: Tee work, soft toss, live batting practice, and swing mechanics. Coaches provide individualized cues to improve contact, balance, and approach.

    • Baserunning station: Leads, reading pitchers, first-step explosiveness, sliding technique, and smart decision-making on the basepaths.

    • Stations are rotated so every camper receives multiple focused reps at each skill with small-group coaching and instant feedback.

  • Break and Q&A (10–15 minutes)

    • Water break and brief rest.

    • Coaches review key teaching points and answer players’ questions to reinforce learning.

  • Live scrimmage and game-situation drills (35–45 minutes)

    • Players apply what they practiced in controlled game play—offensive and defensive situations, live at-bats, and tactical baserunning.

    • Coaches stop play to teach positioning, situational decisions, and teamwork, then let players execute.

  • Team-building and community wrap-up (10–15 minutes)

    • Group discussion highlighting lessons learned, effort, and sportsmanship.

    • Short team-building activities to promote communication, respect, and leadership.

    • Coaches share positive feedback and action items for continued improvement.

Why campers benefit

  • Balanced skill development: equal emphasis on hitting, fielding, and baserunning ensures a well-rounded player.

  • Repetition with purpose: structured rotations deliver meaningful reps while avoiding burnout.

  • Game awareness: scrimmages and situational drills translate practice into better in-game decisions.
